| Steps 1 - 2 - 3 | X10 Transmitters | X10 Receivers | X10 Wireless | X10 Ideas |
Because of the proprietary nature of X10 products we recommend ordering directly from the the X10 website. |
| X10 is a powerline carrier (PLC) signalling language that enables control signals to be transmitted anywhere in your house over your existing 110V electrical lines. Simply plug in a controller (transmitter) at one electrical outlet and plug in a module (receiver) at any other outlet and you have remote control of that module! This enables you to have the remote and automated control of lights and appliances from anywhere on your property. | ||
| As easy as 1, 2, 3 | ||
| Step 1 | Step 2 | Step 3 |
| Plug your light or appliance into an X10 module (receiver) and then plug the module into an electrical outlet. | Program the X10 module by setting the house and unit codes. All you need is a small flat-head screwdriver or the easy to use code clickers. | Plug your controller (transmitter) into any other electrical outlet in your house, and set the proper house code. That's it! You now control your lamp or appliance with your X10 controller. |
