The 9871 CAT 5 Driver accepts input signals for component video (YPbPr), stereo analog audio anf coaxial digital audio and converts those signals, allowing them to be distributed via CAT 5 cables to destinations up to 1000 feet from the originating source. Each 9871 will support two destinations. In addition to the signal pathways provided by the 9871, there is a convenient pathway for a third party IR remote distribution network over the 9870 Cat 5 cable run. IR receiver and emitter equipment not included. Use this with the 9878 CAT 5 Residential HDTV Wallplate.
